Project Summary
Railway Products Group supported International carbuilder, CAF (USA) in their delivery of the next generation of Viewliner cars to Amtrak through 2022.
The contract consisted of 130 cars for long distance service. The order included 25 Sleeping cars, 25 Dining cars, 55 Baggage cars and 25 Bag/Dorm cars (which combine bed and baggage

Project Deliverables
As the largest single vendor to the project, Railway Products Group provided design, engineering, and manufacture of the modular interiors to the highest international safety and quality standards.
Railway Products Group’s scope of supply to the project includes all room types (see images below) as well as complimentary elements like occasional seats. Manufacturing for the project took place at Railway Products Group’s Baltimore, Maryland facility.
