Amtrak Superliner I Production Coach ADA
Project Summary
In 2021 Amtrak selected Railway Products Group to provide a complete ADA interior package for their Superliner I Coach Car remanufacture project. In addition to completely replacing all of the electrical and mechanical systems, the existing interiors are completely removed and replaced with modern upgraded modular interiors.

Product Deliverables
The project included a new design to insure compatibility with the latest ADA regulations. Included were: floors, walls, ceilings,, ensuite doors, vanity units, trash/recycle and luggage racks, unisex bathrooms, and a public shower. RPG also provided installation support.
Recognitions
In 2011 Amtrak won the award for the Superliner I remanufacture project, Railway Products Group was commended at the 2011 Brunel Awards for its partnership in developing this project. The Brunel Awards are given to railway companies, to encourage outstanding visual design in railway architecture, graphics, industrial design and art, technical infrastructure and environmental integration, and rolling stock.
